Distribution and publishing
Once a production is finished and you approve it to publish, JARAI distributes it to your connected channels and tracks the results. This page covers that flow end to end.

- Connect your channels once via OAuth (Settings → Connected platforms).
- Finish a production and open its detail page.
- Approve to publish — optionally deselect platforms you don’t want this time.
- JARAI posts to each in-scope channel and records the published URLs.
- Track publications + engagement on the Distribution dashboard.
Before you can publish
You need at least one connected channel. Connecting is a one-time OAuth step per platform — see Connected platforms. After that, publishing is automatic on approval.
Approving to publish
-
Open the finished production (it reaches an “awaiting publish” state once the deliverables are packaged).
-
Review the deliverables — preview each platform variant on the Story tab.
-
Choose platforms. By default JARAI publishes to the channels in scope; you can deselect any platform you don’t want for this production. Deselected platforms are suppressed (not published); the rest go ahead.
-
Approve. JARAI hands the production to the distribution loop, which posts the right variant to each selected channel.
What happens after approval
- JARAI posts the platform-specific variant (correct aspect ratio, duration, and SEO metadata) to each connected channel.
- It records the published URL for each.
- Engagement and revenue flow back in and appear on the Distribution dashboard.
Tracking results
Use Dashboards → Distribution to see what published where, the live URLs, and the engagement/revenue events tied to each. The Avatar performance dashboard breaks results down by avatar and platform.
When a publish doesn’t go through
- Channel disconnected / token expired → reconnect it (Settings → Connected platforms). JARAI refreshes tokens automatically where it can, but a revoked authorisation needs re-consent.
- Platform still pending approval → some platforms require app review before production posting; content for those is held rather than failing.
- Nothing in scope → make sure at least one connected channel was selected at approval.
